With one employee and a volunteer Board of Directors currently numbering 18, Keep Carroll Beautiful recorded almost 8,000 volunteer hours (7913) in one amazing year. Our volunteers worked on committees that organized clean-up events such as "Don't Mess with Carroll County, 2 very successful Electronics Recycling Events in partnership with Southwire and other sponsors, beautification events (Tour Hidden Gardens of Carroll County and Arbor Day plantings) and education opportunities for members of the community ranging from school age children to Civic groups.

We received over $19,000.00 in grant funds to administer our programs and $12,500.00 in gifts in kind. These gifts provided us with office space and supplies, a telephone line and web-site hosting.

The total value of KCB's volunteer efforts to the community is over $50,000.00. When the value of cost avoidance and the reduction in Government costs is added to this figure, meaning that volunteers performed tasks that local governments might have paid for in the past), Keep Carroll Beautiful returned goods and services to the citizens of Carroll County valued at more than $60,000.00 in 2007.
