The Sixth Annual Keep Carroll Beautiful Green Run was held on Saturday, September 9th, along the beautiful Carrollton GreenBelt.

Keep Carroll Beautiful, in partnership with local businesses, uses this race to raise much-needed funds for our community recycling events, beautification efforts, litter prevention & litter clean-ups.

UPDATE: Route Change – now at Hobbs Farm Park

The race will start in the Hobbs Farm Parking lot and follow the GreenBelt trail towards Rome Street with a turn-around point mid-way to Grace Covenant Church. The runners will then go around the Hobbs Loop and turn towards Stewart Street. There will be another turnaround on Stewart Street, and the run will continue back around the loop and towards the finish line at the trailhead building!

The Schedule

• The race starts at 8 am, Saturday, September 9th.
• Awards begin at 9 am. 
• If needed, the runners will be staggered into smaller groups to comply with CDC recommendations and state regulations on social gatherings.

Packets and Pickup

• The Race Packet includes a t-shirt and bib.
• Virtual runners can pick up their packets from the KCB office (by appointment or during Early Packet Pickup).
• Early Packet Pickup – FRIDAY, September 8th, at KCB’s office:
  • 213 Bradley Street, Carrollton, Georgia, 30117! (Across the street from Brown Dog Eatery).

Virtual and In-Person

While the Green Run is held outdoors with plenty of space to safely social distance, we understand some runners and walkers may want to take extra precautions and still be willing to support Keep Carroll Beautiful by participating in the 5K. We offer an honor-system virtual run/walk and ask that participants join us on the run date or any other convenient date, to be a part of the KCB community!
