2025 GREEN RUN
The 8th Annual Keep Carroll Beautiful Green Run was held on October 25, 2025.
Hosted with support from local businesses and organizations, this event helps fund KCB’s year-round recycling programs, beautification projects, and litter prevention initiatives.
The race starts at the Target Trailhead and winds through the GreenBelt toward the Carrollton City Schools campus, down Ben Scott Boulevard, and along the shaded stretch by Buffalo Creek. Runners will take on the hill leading to Hays Mill Trailhead, pass Laura’s Park, and cross the bridge over the Buffalo Creek Shoals. (Water and restrooms available in this area.) A sharp turn and quick downhill lead to the Hays Mill Road underpass – stay in your lane through this limited-visibility section – and then you’re almost at the turnaround! Head back to the Target Trailhead to claim your medal, enjoy post-race snacks, and celebrate your run for a cleaner, greener Carroll County!

We offer an honor-system virtual run/walk and ask that participants join us on the run date or any other convenient date, to be a part of the KCB community!
Like every year, we look forward to seeing you on the Greenbelt!
