2025 GREEN RUN

Join us on on October 25, 2025, for the 8th Annual Keep Carroll Beautiful Green Run…

…a scenic 5K along the beautiful Carrollton GreenBelt! Hosted with support from local businesses and organizations, this event helps fund KCB’s year-round recycling programs, beautification projects, and litter prevention initiatives.

The race starts at the Target Trailhead and winds through the GreenBelt toward the Carrollton City Schools campus, down Ben Scott Boulevard, and along the shaded stretch by Buffalo Creek. Runners will take on the hill leading to Hays Mill Trailhead, pass Laura’s Park, and cross the bridge over the Buffalo Creek Shoals. (Water and restrooms available in this area.) A sharp turn and quick downhill lead to the Hays Mill Road underpass – stay in your lane through this limited-visibility section – and then you’re almost at the turnaround! Head back to the Target Trailhead to claim your medal, enjoy post-race snacks, and celebrate your run for a cleaner, greener Carroll County!

The Schedule

• Packet Pickup starts at 7 am.
• The 5K race starts at 8 am.
• Awards begin at 9 am. 

Packets and Pickup

• The Race Packet includes a t-shirt and bib.
• Virtual runners can pick up their packets from the KCB office (by appointment or during Early Packet Pickup).
• Early Packet Pickup at the KCB Office:
  • Friday before the event, 10 am to 6 pm;
  • 213 Bradley Street, Carrollton, Georgia, 30117! (Across the street from Brown Dog Eatery).

Virtual and In-Person

While the Green Run is held outdoors with plenty of space to safely social distance, we understand some runners and walkers may want to take extra precautions and still be willing to support Keep Carroll Beautiful by participating in the 5K. We offer an honor-system virtual run/walk and ask that participants join us on the run date or any other convenient date, to be a part of the KCB community!
