Keep Carroll Beautiful has just celebrated 15 years of serving Carroll County community and West Georgia area! While we could not meet with the community in person, we celebrated by sharing 15 Days of Green Tips for 15 years of Keep Carroll Beautiful! (https://www.keepcarrollbeautiful.org/15th-birthday/)
In 2019, #KeepCarrollBeautiful made great strides in the core focus areas:
♻️ Recycling – 48,567 lbs of electronics, 26 gallons of paint, and 15 lbs. of plastic bags!
🗑 LitterPrevention – 5,808 lbs. of roadside litter waste picked up by volunteers of 34 roads!
🌻 Beautification – 450 fruit and vegetable seedlings planted in community gardens; 24 public spaces cleaned!
ℹ️ Education – 12 presentations and events, 360 youth reached,15 recycling bins to schools on National Recycling day!
