15 Days of Green Tips for 15 years of Keep Carroll Beautiful

Day 8 – Mini-cleanups with Kala Elliott

This post is a part of the “15 Days of Green Tips for 15 years of Keep Carroll Beautiful” Virtual Birthday Celebration. Every day between April 8 and April 22, a member of KCB Board, Staff, or the public, will share their favorite tips on how to Reuse, Reduce, and Recycle!

Following Dr. Seuss’s philosophy, Kala Elliott believes that “Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not.”, Kala strives to make an impact on our community by being mindful of the things you buy, plastic bag usage, and repurposing materials is a great way to help the environment. She is a Keep Carroll Beautiful Board Member as well as a member of Ra-Lin Company team!

To stay sane in the stressful times, Kala heads to the Carrollton GreenBelt with her dog, Raleigh. She often brings a plastic shopping bag with her and picks up any stray trash that may be left around the trail.

Day 8 of Virtual Birthday Party – Keep Carroll Beautiful is turning 15! – Meet Kala Elliott, Keep Carroll Beautiful Board Member and RA-LIN and Associates, Inc. team member. Kala strives to make an impact on our community by being mindful of the things you buy, plastic bag usage, and repurposing materials is a great way to help the environment.
