For Immediate Release

CARROLL COUNTY, GA. Keep Carroll Beautiful (KCB), is moving its office into a new, temporary location.

KCB is moving

After almost a decade spent on the Tanner Health System campus, Keep Carroll Beautiful (KCB) closed its doors to the Dixie Street office on December 22nd, 2021. Tanner’s support allowed Keep Carroll Beautiful to focus on establishing and running the events Carroll County residents rely on to dispose of hard to recycle materials like electronics, paint, and fluorescent bulbs. The Dixie Street location was also a hub for road and trail adoption as well as community garden programs. The Keep Carroll Beautiful Board and Staff are extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to use the Tanner facilities as it allowed the organization to grow and prosper over the years.

With the move, we expect short-term disruptions to our in-house recycling program for household batteries. KCB will continue to provide Adopt-A-Road cleanup supplies, event recycling bins, and run the regular recycling collection events like E-Recycling or Tired of Tires.

2022 Event Calendar includes:

  • Spring Electronics Recycling (April 30)
  • Spring Tired of Tires Amnesty (April 16-23)
  • Household Hazardous Waste (May 14)
  • Fall Electronics Recycling (October 15)
  • Fall Tired of Tires Amnesty (November 12-19)

Adopt-A-Road Supplies

The temporary office arrangements do not allow KCB to receive visitors. All cleanup supply requests should be made via email (info@keepcarrollbeautiful.org) or phone (678-321-4816) at least one week ahead of the scheduled cleanup. KCB’s new mailing address is P.O. Box 2488, Carrollton, Georgia, 30112.
