GARBAGE PICKUP
The City of Bowdon has partnered with Waste Industries/GFL to provide curbside services to its residents.

The curbside recycling service is provided FREE for garbage service customers. To apply for water, sewer, garbage, and recycling services in Bowdon please call (770) 258-8980.
- Trash Pickup for locations on the east side of Hwy100 is scheduled for Tuesdays, and for the properties West of Hwy100 – on Thursdays.
- The monthly fee for trash pickup is $26.50 (as of June 2023).
- Bowdon Dispolas Services will provide 95-gallon bins for garbage and recycling.
RECYCLING OPTIONS
The City of Bowdon does not offer RECYCLING services at this time. Please consider taking your recyclables to a Carroll County Convenience Center near you:

LIMB and DEBRIS PICKUP
How does it work?

As a courtesy to the community, the City of Bowdon offers limb pick-up service on the first Monday of each month. In order to ensure efficiency and a continuance of this service, the following guidelines will apply:
- You must have an active water utility account.
- You must submit a pickup request or call City Hall 770-258-8980.
- Debris must be placed on the curb (NOT in the street) by 12pm noon the first Monday of the month.
- You understand and agree to the following:
Items eligible for pick up:
- Limbs with a maximum length of five (5) feet, with a maximum diameter of four (4) inches, and/or maximum weight of forty (40) pounds.
- Shrub trimmings (size and weight same as limbs).
- The limb debris pile is not to exceed five (5) feet in length, three (3) feet in width or three (3) feet in height.
Items that WILL NOT be picked up:
- Leaves or grass cuttings
- Any trash other than limbs and shrub trimmings
- Stumps of any kind
- Commercial cuttings or large land-clearing debris
Large Pickups
If the weight or size of limbs or debris pile is exceeded, a permit will be required and a fee will be charged based on manpower and equipment required. The City reserves the right to refuse pick-up of any debris which does not meet the program criteria.
